Pop Art Animated Reels: Make a Short Film With the Same Characters in Every Scene
FeaturesPublished October 14, 2026 · 2 min read
Pop art is made for short videos: bold flat colours, thick outlines and big faces that read on a small phone screen. Animated characters in ShareGreet turns one idea into a short reel in that look, with the same two characters in every scene.
Animated characters is in beta. It is open to accounts we have switched on, and we are widening access as we check cost and quality.
How to make one
Open Create, tap Create a video and choose Animated characters.
Type an idea, for example: a brother sneaks the last slice of cake and his little sister catches him.
Pick Pop art as the look, and choose four, six or eight scenes.
Read the script. It is free, and you can change what is said in each scene before anything is made.
Tap Make my video. It takes about five minutes, and we tell you when it is ready.
Seven looks, and some that belong to your region
Besides pop art you can choose 3D animated, clay, watercolor, oil painting, sketch and real people. Your region can add its own art on top. In India that is Mughal miniature, Madhubani folk art and a hand-painted film poster look. In Japan it is ukiyo-e woodblock and sumi-e ink wash. We add more regions over time, and anyone can pick any look.
The same festival scene in four regional looks: Mughal miniature, Madhubani, ukiyo-e and sumi-e.
Ideas that work well
Two siblings and a plate of sweets.
A grandfather and a child fly a kite and it gets stuck in a tree.
Two friends who are always late to the same bus.
A shopkeeper and a customer who finally says thank you.
What to expect
It uses credits, about two for every second of video. Writing the script is free, and your credits come back if the video fails.
The characters stay very close from scene to scene, but small details such as a pattern or a hair ribbon can still change.
The words follow the language of your region. You can also have the narration written as a shayari or a poem.
Stories are made of invented characters. Real people and brands are not allowed.
