Talking Wish: Make a Character Say Your Wish, in Your Language
FeaturesPublished October 22, 2026 · 2 min read
A talking wish is a short video in which a character says your words out loud: a Diwali wish, a birthday greeting, a good-morning message or a joke. The voice, the lip movement and the expression are all made together, so it looks like the character really is saying it.
How to make one
Open Create and tap Talking wish (you can also find it behind the + button).
Pick a character: one of your saved characters, one of the 37 ready characters, or your own picture after a quick safety check.
Type what they should say: up to 16 words.
Choose the language and how they say it: joyful, excited, shy, loving, playful or proud.
Tap Make my talking wish. It takes about two minutes, and you can close the app.
Thirteen languages
English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Urdu, Spanish and Portuguese. Write your line in the language's own script for the best pronunciation.
What it costs
A short line (up to 9 words) makes a 6-second video and costs 18 credits.
A longer line (up to 16 words) makes an 8-second video and costs 24 credits.
If the video cannot be made, your credits come back.
You can start up to eight talking wishes a day.
Tips for a better result
Keep the line short and warm. One sentence works best.
Pick the feeling that matches the words: excited for good news, loving for family wishes, shy for a sweet surprise.
A clear, front-facing character picture gives the best lip sync.
What to know
The character speaks your text; it does not sing to a song you provide.
Pictures must be family-friendly. Fully dressed characters, traditional dress and drawn characters are fine.
Every video carries a small "Presented by - ShareGreet App" line.
