Turn Any Video Into a Hand-Held Flipbook, With the Original Sound
A flipbook video is a short clip shown as a hand-held flipbook: every moment is a drawing on a page, and a thumb riffles the pages so the picture moves. Flipbook video in ShareGreet does this for any video you already have. Your own sound plays underneath, with a soft page flutter, so a birthday song or a dance still sounds like itself.
How to make one
- Open Create and tap Flipbook video.
- Tap Pick a video and choose a clip from your phone.
- Choose a template (the hand and book), a page flip and a look. Tap any sample at the top to see what each look turns out like, then Use this look.
- Choose HD (free) or 4K (uses credits) and tap Make my flipbook.
- You can close the app. A tile marked Generating appears in your Profile, and we tell you when it is ready.
Seventeen looks
Pencil, comic, coloured pencil, colour sketch, ink, charcoal, watercolour, halftone, pastel, blueprint, sepia pencil, neon line and paper cut-out draw the whole picture. Four more lift the person out of the video and draw only them on a blank page: cartoon, sketch, colour sketch and flat vector cut-outs.
Choose the book and the page flip
- Template: three hand-held books (plum, peach or coral nails) or a studio shot where you pick one of eight background colours.
- Page flip: a turning page you can see through a little or a lot (95%, 85%, 75% or 65% see-through).
- Sound: your video's own sound, with a soft page flutter added on top.
What to expect
- HD is free and takes up to 60 seconds of video. 4K uses credits, and you can see the price before you start. What HD and 4K cost.
- It is made in the background: HD takes a few minutes, 4K longer, and the cut-out looks in 4K take the longest (about ten minutes for 30 seconds).
- You can make up to ten flipbook videos a day.
- Your original video is deleted from our servers once the flipbook is made. The finished flipbook stays in your Profile until you delete it.
- Use videos you have the right to use. Faces and scenes from videos you made yourself work best.

Is a flipbook video free?

Does the video keep its sound?

Does it use AI for every video?
No. The looks are drawn by our own software, so a flipbook video does not use an AI image or video model. The cut-out looks use a small model on our servers to find the person in each frame.
What happens to the video I upload?
It is used to make the flipbook and then deleted from our servers. The finished flipbook stays in your Profile until you delete it.
How many can I make a day?
